Ways to Mount Shower Panels for Schools
Panels used to build shower stalls are the same panels used to build restroom stalls, although the assembly and accessories used in construction vary somewhat due to differences in cubicle dimensions. Shower panels for schools can be mounted to the wall or to the floor, making three basic configurations possible.
The circular configuration is used around column showers designed to service multiple users. Panels are installed between individual shower heads at an angle that provides a large entrance at one end and a narrower end around the shower head. These stalls can be open on the end or be fitted with shower curtains for full privacy.
Wall mounted shower panels for schools can be placed between individual group shower heads mounted to the wall. Again, these stalls can be semi private or fully private.
The cubicles mounting style involves building a complete enclosure around a column shower. This is even more private than a restroom stall, because it involves installing a total of one end panel, 2 walls and a closing, locking door.
Materials Used to Make Shower Panels for Schools
We recommend that you buy either solid plastic panels or phenolic core panels. Both are moisture resistant and ideal for humid and/or wet environments. Phenolic is also super hygienic, being resistant to oil and bacteria as well.
