What are “no site” partitions?
No site restroom partitions were first used in Europe to build completely enclosed public and commercial stalls that offered a new level of privacy previously unavailable in restroom design. This style has since become increasingly popular in the United States in hotels, airports, bus stations, and public schools.
No site means that there are no visible gaps between the door, pilasters, and panels of the restroom stall. Standard toilet stalls typically have a gap between these components. After several years of wear and tear, this gap can widen as much as 1”. Many people feel uncomfortable with the level of visibility this gap permits into the stall interior.
Do no site partitions require special floor or ceiling construction?
What material options do we have?
You can choose from either solid plastic or solid phenolic sightless toilet dividers. Both of these materials bear a higher front-end cost, but they return multiplied value through long-term savings on maintenance and replacements. Both solid phenolic and solid plastic sightless partitions are 100 percent resistant to moisture. This makes them impervious to mildew, mold, and rust.
Solid phenolic is the hardest material we sell and therefore the most vandal and heat resistant. We have installed solid phenolic partitions in places like the City of Midland Natatorium, where strict fire codes required us to use exceptional materials to meet all regulatory requirements.
Solid plastic is not quite as hard as solid phenolic, but it is still more resistant to dents and scratches than stainless steel, baked enamel, or powder-coated steel. It can also be economically repaired in the event that it is maliciously damaged. No site solid plastic partitions are also ideal components for shower stalls in high-end gyms and swimming pool locker rooms.
What mounting styles can we choose from?
Our solid plastic partitions can be mounted floor to ceiling or floor mounted, overhead braced. Solid phenolic partitions can also be mounted in these styles, or they can be ceiling hung.
Do no site partitions require special installation methods?
No. All necessary hardware accessories ship with your order. You have the option of contracting our installation crew if your facility is located in the state of Texas. We will also travel to neighboring states for select bathroom construction projects if this is logistically feasible.
